there’s this one sub a new mod came in and started posting his opinions everywhere with the mod flair on instead of just posting like a normal person and using mod flair for idk, mod activities? like you could tell her just turned it on when he wanted his voice to be louder…
anyways I asked him why he did this a few times. first time he said oh sorry accidentally turned it on, but like it kept happening so I asked again and got the hammer. at least he doesn’t do it anymore, i think some other people called it out too, and i can read the thread without seeing some jackass turn on his big boy voice.

That’s really stupid, Reddit unfortunately promotes these kinds of mods with no recourse. Even if you don’t actually break any rules at all you can still be banned. I’d submit a complaint to Reddit about the group and the admins.

I honestly think it should go against reddit TOS to be banned from communities you’ve never even interacted in just because you say something in a different sub. Such a weird phenomenon.

This surfaced in my feed somehow and my initial reaction was “I haven’t heard of Carnivorous Plants, but I didn’t realize Savage Garden fans are numerous enough to populate a subreddit and have beef with them? I guess I need to check out”
